Overview
As Lead Designer at Urban Innovation Vienna GmbH, I was responsible for the overall creative direction and execution of Digital Days 2024. The event took place at the Technical Museum Vienna and explored the theme “Think Human. Act Digital,” focusing on digital humanism in the context of city life, science, and the economy. My work spanned branding, concept development, motion design, spatial graphics, and print. Event photography was provided by Jakob Hahn.

The Challenge
The main challenge was to visually represent complex digital topics in a way that felt accessible, contemporary, and distinctly human—while also celebrating a decade of progress in Vienna’s digital landscape.
The Solution
A striking color palette of electric purple and yellow was combined with an expressive hand illustration to symbolize human agency in the digital world. The design system was rolled out across print, digital, and spatial formats—from stage graphics and signage to programs and event installations. At its core, the visual language built on the binary foundation of 0s and 1s, while emotionally connecting to the human side of innovation: people driven by passion, shaping digital solutions with creativity and purpose.
The Result
The visual identity gave the event a strong and memorable presence, reinforcing Vienna’s role as a pioneer in digital humanism. Through bold event and exhibition design, the experience resonated with both young and older audiences—inviting participation, discovery, and dialogue. The setting served not only as a public celebration, but also as a platform to strengthen connections between business and science, raising awareness of their shared role in shaping a digital future.
