Overview
While working as a designer at the agency HEIMAT Wien, I contributed to Almdudler’s 2023 Pride campaign—a special initiative by Austria’s iconic soft drink brand to show solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community. The project involved the creation of a vibrant key visual, limited edition pride packaging, animated assets, and adaptable designs for both print and digital use. The Challenge
The key challenge was to visually express the energy and inclusivity of Pride while maintaining brand consistency. The visual identity needed to strike a balance between celebration and clarity, with illustrations that were instantly recognizable and emotionally engaging.
The Solution
Using a bold, playful illustration style with diverse characters and flowing rainbow motifs, we created a vibrant and welcoming world that represented love in all its forms. The visual was extended into motion design for animated ads and social media, creating consistency across all platforms. The campaign message was simple and powerful: “Love is colorful—just like Almdudler.”
The Result
The campaign gained strong traction during Pride Month, with high public engagement both online and in-store. The visual identity stood out through its authenticity, emotional warmth, and vibrant execution. It effectively positioned Almdudler as a brand that not only celebrates diversity but actively lives it.
